I like the features of the grill, and have accepted the reality that the product is not as robust as Weber, but the value has always offset the relative cost issue. I just purchased a new 4106 in late June and was quite disappointed. No longer is the hood pre-assembled to the bowl with rivets, requiring no assemby by the owner, but [as noted in by another commenter] the proper locknuts required to assemble the entire grill were missing; in there place square non-locking nuts, which if utilized as direct substitute would have left a shaky grill forever. I contacted MECO and a very pleasant lady told me that was how the company was was shipping the units now, and she did not know why. But, she did happily ship the locknuts necessary, and a week later, I was able to finally assemble the grill in its entirety. Had I needed the grill immediately, I could have purchased the locknuts...
